Why is it all the ghosts Melinda see never reveal their true intent in the beginning? Most if not all of them start out very ominous and it appears they’re angry and trying to cause harm. After MUCH investigation it turns out the ghosties are only trying to protect those they’re haunting.
Last nights episode it looked as if the ghost was trying to hurt someone involved in the soap opera or in the theatre department at the university. He kept giving Eli and Melinda cryptic messages leading them to believe he was evil and it wasn’t until the very end that his true motives came out, he was trying to get them to stop blaming themselves about his death and to follow their dreams. I guess if he came out with that at the beginning there would be no show.
I took me a while to recognize Kelli Martin, the last time I saw her was on ER and she had dark hair. Her face looked the same but it was the wavy blonde hair that was throwing me. I thought it was a hoot that everyone was into the soap opera except Melinda, even Jim was hooked on it. Just goes to show you, even though they try to deny it men do enjoy knowing who’s sleeping with who and who’s the daddy storylines that are so popular on those shows.
Did anybody else notice the blooper when they were in the auditorium at the college? Check it out. In this scene the ghost, far left, is shown on the monitor behind them, in other scenes he’s shown on stage but absent in the monitor as he should be
I’m glad the baby is really Jim’s and will have his DNA, not Sam’s. You could tell that was a relief to Jim and Melinda also. My understanding is the show will pick up the pace for the rest of the season and time will speed up.
The previews for next week showed Jim getting down on one knee so I’m sure he’s proposing to Melinda. You won’t want to miss the season finale on May 15th when Melinda and Jim get married. My only question is, who will be his best man. Jim can’t ask any of his old friends since they don’t know him and Sam has no friends except for Melinda and her small circle. I guess it’s a toss up between Eli and Ned but my money’s on Ned.
